Rather than shoot-and-review, with Thirty Six you shoot and shoot … and shoot, until youve finished a virtual roll of 36 exposures. Then you sit back and watch what develops. The coolest part? You even get an old-school contact sheet of your shots, from which you can choose your favorite frames.

The functional simplicity, intuitive design and nostalgic feel of this camera app are spot on.

Its a nice app thats for sure. I dont like the fact that it takes only squares. The images are really good but please change it. I would also prefer a green color for accepted images instead of orange. And way more options in camera mode. The autofocus is really slow. Im on a 6+

Pictures look great, when finally developed. It does make you think about your composition. Like film cameras, there are some pictures you forgot you took. Ive only done one roll so far and it took FOREVER to develop

The App is upside down. The Volume buttons are supposed to be on the top so that they can be used as a shutter like any other picture taking app on iPhones. I like the concept of taking pictures like in old times when film photography was more prominent. I started doing photography with film so i can appreciate this app very much and I recall looking at the contacts and selecting only the bests, then going to the darkroom and making copies of them. Good times!

is that all there is? nice concept but wheres the beef? B&W images are clean. Now I know why there isnt any documentation- not needed. NET NET: less than a OK start- hope to see some enhancements…. 2.5 stars actually not worth $1.99 should of been free

This is like the typewriter of photography apps. The concept offers one thing: resistance. Been using it a few days and found it made my shots better, and made me more excited to see them. Theres even an option save the whole photo contact sheet thing. Is it an everyday photo app? No. Is the concept worth $2? You bet.

I like it. A nice start to the app. Not being able to see what you shot, until you finish your "roll", is fun. Just like the old days. I would like to be able to customize the label thats applied to the contact sheet (maybe MY name and a © instead of Thirty Six Photographer). And Id like to be able to control the BW conversions a little, though I get thats not the point of this app. Its just that once the color info is gone, the type of BW that can be made, and alterations to it, is very limited. Maybe add upload features such as Tumblr or 500px ...

Good job guys, i like the app,there are two more things that will make this app rock, the first one is b&w adjustment , at least contrast , or b&w films simulation, the other thing is color film. I hope we will see this updates in a near future.

Great app. Great concept. It falls a little short in the camera function department. Id love to be able to control focus and exposure independently. Right now the camera on this app is lacking. Also on my wish list would be a color film roll.

I love the idea and the app itself, all except that its upside down. Allow it to flip and its awesome!

Crashes, weak support, dont wasted your time. I didnt want to give one star, but if was required to give a star.

Latest updates have improved usability and reliability. Great app.

Love the opening splash screen! The countdown makes me want to know whats inside. The contrast vignette controls adds to the analog digital immersion ! The lightning bolt has a blunt end for the flash icon:-) not loving it. Icon could be more artsy! Great job!

This is a great app that gets you thinking like a film shooter. Its nostalgic but also a great app in its own right. Its great to shoot a full roll before seeing your images, but the biggest deal here is you can customize and create your own film looks and tweek characteristics to your taste. Solid app. Glad I finally got it!

Ive had this app for a few weeks and have loved it , until this morning. Used the app perfectly last night, go to use it this morning and where I should get a live view of what Im aiming at, I get the example photo from the app(the one used here on iTunes). I try to take a photo anyway and nothing is there to develop. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, same result . Please fix this because I really enjoy this app and hate looking like a jerk to the people Ive recommended it to. Once this issue is fixed, Ill be happy to give it a 5 . Oh and the issue of the app crashing when you adjust your film settings.....fix that as well. Im using an iPhone 6s Plus . Thanks !
